Vehicle Auction.

Looking to get me a hi-top van like the Ram Promaster, Ford Transit or Mercedes sprinter.
I see there are some at Regal Auction in Calgary, anyone dealt with them?

I know they do sell some high mile vehicles.
tell me your experience with Regal Auction.

promaster is a steaming pile , stay far away from that junk. transits seem to be pretty decent.

I've bought several vehicles from Regals over the years, mainly repos. The service Regal offers is quite good as far as an auction goes, their condition reports are fair and they don't hide anything.

But you gotta remember you are at an auction, most vehicles are there for a reason. You really need to figure out your limit and adhere to it...that line of "don't lose it for $20!!!" yelled by the ringman is often too much for some folks. I've seen guys pay well above retail for a non-runner with obvious problems...no explanation why a person would do this.

That being said, many dealers buy at these auctions so good deals probably do exist.

I bought several vehicles from Regal over the years. No complaints, Always worked out well for me, but you have to remember you're buying an unknown quantity and pay accordingly. It's all on line now, but I wouldn't buy anything I didn't inspect beforehand.

The promaster is front wheel drive.
It makes for a lower deck in the back, as it doesn't need clearance for the driveshaft.
I bought a tall transit van.
Sixteen thousand hutterites can't be wrong...
