Default Iron Mike vs Roy Jones Jr this Saturday.

Who ya got?

Betting window's open.
If anyone likes Jones I have a red bill on Tyson if it goes to the card and a brownie on a KO. Any takers?

I've been waiting for this since the early 90's, IM SO EXCITED!!!

Iron Mike.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dDH3f--v3Tw

To be fair Tyson was on Joe Rogan and said after that promo clip he couldn't get out of bed for a week. Come fight night, it's gonna be vintage Mike and that lethal hook shot that could take the average man's head clean off.

Jones Jr
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_8JUa5FLfj8

He's no slouch, those punches are for real! But they lack the intensity & ferociousness of Tysons. Tyson is a stone cold killer, even at 53.

If Jones has any chance he's gonna have to be a good dancer and stay out of Tysons hook shot range or it could be over quick.
No disrespect to Jones, but Iron Mike is on another level.

Gonna be a gooder!!

Man I miss Boxing, Tyson fights were a cultural event, nothing has packed the bars like that since Boxing faded away.

Wounder what the current Heavyweight Champ Anthony Joshua thinks about these comebacks?

Jones in a walk. Age thing and always had more pure talent. Thinking Iron Mike might get tired by mid first round if Jones can keep moving and let him chase.

Pretty gay fight.
The 2 minute rounds should favour Tyson.
No judges.
Etc.
Some silly stipulations.

Huge fans of both from that era but this is going to be only an exhibition at best. Not a war...

Supposedly no Knockouts first sign of blood they stopped the fight ,I'm thinking they made a bet between each other to see who could knock each other out I hope.

Both fighters are fighting for pride, they are both gonna give it all they have.

Jones is pretty confident of his chances. Should be a good one either way.

They are fighting for pride now, it could turn into a war REAL quick.

I don't think a single one of Tysons KO victims bled before being KO'd.

I think a KO is still a legit possibility.

I have a pair of Everlast gloves from the Holyfield fight, Tyson signed both gloves. The left glove just his sig and on the right glove he wrote "YEA I F***** BIT HIM!!

Got them off FleaBay back when Alberta was still rockin and I could afford to buy stuff like that, the good 'Ol days. Think it was about $400US in a nice wood and plexiglass display case, that's when our dollar was at par. That's when I bought my Harley out of Miami too for about half what I could of bought it for locally.

Tyson looks like an animal. But those are lots of short 2 second clips. How long could he keep that pace going if he can stay close? If Jones is good at dancing he may be able to pick Tyson apart.

Although the action in any one of those 2 second clips could really mess a guy up in a hurry.

I'd put my money on Tyson too. Short rounds will be his advantage.

Definitely not out of the question, Jones Jr is a BEAST in his own right. And he is FAST on his feet. That's gonna be the only way he wins, buy running away from the stone cold killer. And dancing like he's Michael Jackson.

Just heard Michael Buffer will do ring announcing dutys. Nobody could intro a fight like him. A legend in his own right. The best there ever was.

"For the millions and millions around the world that couldn't be her tonight"

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JOzdm-lwLCg

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WvufFwdqMzg

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4c12YQIa5w0

And Michael Buffer get's the do ring dutys. He I saw also a legend. Nobody could hype a fight like him.

Nope... if it was a sanctioned 1 round fight with regular rules I would be more excited... 3 round tap fest meh. If I wanted to watch Tae-Kwon-Do (sp?) without kicking I would do that

I hear ya.
Right about now, 100 million people would probably pay per view to watch them see who could eat 5 bowls of cereal the fastest.

If it's just an exhibition why ppv? A joke. Both guys were great in their prime but this is an embarrassment.

Think this is a joke?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDH3f--v3Tw

Maybe you should crawl in the ring with them since they are so long past their prime? Should be easy, right?

I'll throw down a rack for you to crawl in the ring with either boxer for a 1 minute round since this is such a joke to you.

You would live out the rest of your days in a wheelchair and drooling all over yourself. But at least you would get a handicapped parking permit so it wouldn't be a total loss.

These are finely honed athletes that are fighting for pride, and ego.
If you think either one will not come out ready to do battle your don't know Boxers very well.

Rules be damned, Tyson is going for the KO.

Tyson has recently said in an interview that once he steps in the ring, he goes straight into kill mode. I don’t think will be any different this time. Both these guys are natural wrecking machines. I don’t see either of them holding back anything. Should be great to watch.

Roy Jones Jr is my all time favorite boxer but he hasn't looked good since he beat John Ruiz in 2003. I'll be cheering for him, but I just don't see this fight living up to the hype, and can't believe they're charging $50 USD for the PPV.

I watched Tank Abbott and some other old guy on youtube rolling around in a back yard for free, and I don't think this will be much better. I really hope I'm wrong.
