*May 15th

If you can wait that long though, It's hard NOT to catch fish there...

otherwise I'd suggest any small, stocked trout pond in the area.

Dont forget about chain if you want consistancy for the young one. Either use a small leach under an indicator, or a worm under an indicator and you should be fine almost anywhere. I've caught fish all around that old mud puddle

AS other have said Pine Coulee is our go to for the grandkids n newbees of all ages. Go directly across from boat launch, find 10 - 15' FOW and use a minnow under a slip bobber. After two hours and many smallish walleye the kids then want a wiener roast. But the action is non stop.

Just watch the wind, this smallish Reservoir can boil up in hurry.

If you do not have a boat, there is a nice fishn dock at the campsite where folks can catch fish as well.

PCR is about 1.5 hours south of Calgary, n west of Stavely, follow signs.

Fabulous place for "catching".
