Default Morinville reservoir (Heritage Lake)

I did a recce this morning to see what the ice is like. the ice has receded about 30 meters on the west end of the lake and about 2 to 5 meters on the east end.
the road going around the east end is impassible due to flooding on the north east corner. There is allot of garbage strewn along the south edge of the lake including a ceramic toilet. as mentioned earlier, the route along the shoreline in some spots isn't drive-able due to water and deep ruts. There are however loons on the open west side of that lake taking fish. Maybe another two weeks before we can do any fishing.
