You should drive a 10 inch spike above and below your cam at an upward and downward angle in the tree, if they try to cut out the section with a chainsaw hopfully they hit the spikes and destroy the chain. Maybe teach them a lesson in curtesy.

Came up with 4 yesterday. A friend found the big one of the day. A double dropper that I think would score around 75". No luck in finding the match.

Default Go time!

I went from having one shed antlered buck to only having one antlered buck in a week! I found two sheds today and my neighbour found one! Of course, the biggest deer that I know of is still packing his around, I'm not looking in that bush until I'm certain that he has dropped his! He is very easy to identify as he has something wrong with him and is always scratching his back with his antlers, to the point that he has bare spots on him?!

This is last summers finds. The 2 mulie sheds, and the smaller whitetail were all found within 30ft from eachother.

I'm thinking it's poss for that small "whitetail" shed to be a mulie without the top fork...possibly

There is a very, very high whitetail population were they were found, I'm pretty sure it's whitetail but maybe mulie. I was actually surprised to find the mulies in that area.

Default Sheds

The biggest buck that I know of has been walking around for two days with one antler!! I've also have new bucks showing up on cameras that I've never seen before and I found a single moose shed today off a bull that didn't shed his velvet this year, his one antler also grew at a strange downward angle, possibly from an earlier injury?!

Here's a few from the past week. Lots of bucks have dropped on cam now but the new snow is making it tougher looking.

Default Where's the snow?

My spots around Calgary have looked like this for about 2 weeks.
No snow but no Sheds yet either. Deer still carrying.
