Let him walk if a guy wants a meat buck shoot a 2x3 or 4x4 or a 4x3 let the good ones pass on the genetics

Same for me,I would rather take a mature buck. If I don't shoot one I still enjoy the hunting experience.

Think about all the knife handles you could make out of a 200" whitey rack and enjoy the meat too

To the OP, you do what you want to do, if it feels right and your happy with the decision, great.

The liklyhood of seeing a 170 class white tail up here is super ultra rare- a 200?
About as likely as seeing a 190 class mule deer up here
If I did shoot one up here I would do two things , give the antlers to my buddy that likes to hang those things on his wall . Seriously, big antlers hold absolutely no interest to me as far as trophies go .
