Default Busy day out today

Beautiful day to say the least, busy to say the most, lots of people everywhere. Tried to get out late morning, couldn't find a place to park, lots of fisherman coming and going - put it off til tonite.

Hour and a half on the water, 3 bows to the net. Steve, I need some help with taking pics, can't seem to hold onto the squirmy little beggars. Figured I could get some good underwater pics with the 10", no sir - didn't want nothing to do with it, gone.

Had a black and white chronie on the bottom fly, they seemed to like it.

18" bow

16" bow

Wee one grabbed the fly and decided to run for it. 10" bow.

Not bad for 1.5 hours on the water.
So, the buggers don't want to hold still for a picture, eh?
Have you tried stunning them with a rock or stick first?

So that's your trick to great photo's eh? Maybe I should tire them out a little more. Nice way to spend time on a beautiful day.

Been out with your broken toe?

Between the toe & the overall soreness from playing my first 3 ball games of the year, I spent this lovely day in the house. At least I can't feel my heartbeat in the toe anymore; should be interesting spending 8 hours in my work boots tomorrow. I can't wait!

Ouch, not much can be done with a busted toe. Tape the big one to the second one, swallow some tylenol and hope for the best.

Nice fish Silver.

Oh and thanks for the fly fishing tips in a previous thread. I was able to land my first rainbow on a fly rod last Monday. Can't wait to get back from work this Thursday to get out again.

Cheers

Awesome feeling, I am hooked on fly fishing. I even went out and bought a beginners fly tying kit at BPS. Something for me to do while sitting in camp thinking about fishing.
