Slow day for the bow. Couple browns, couple bows. All on 3" black leech. But agressive takes.

Saw a spey clave thing in fish creek.

My first time ever fly fishing was Sunday and I caught nothing but trees and grass. I had a hit on a green leach, but it snaPped my line. What a blast fly fishing is though. I'm already hooked and ready for round two later this week. I do need to buy some hooks if anyone has any suggestions.

I went fly fishing for 45 minutes near Southland and caught a whopper of a Rocky Mountain White Fish. It was a lot of fun.

what kind of fly were you using? I might go tonight tot he southland park there. I was going to try a spinner. I have a variety of mepps and panther martins that might work. Do you know any specific colors that you know work. Or any other hooks that might work. (SPINFISHING) I do fly fish but not that much. i want to try and catch a nice bow or a brown on a spinfishing rod.

Got a rocky and a sucker at Policeman's and a brown at MacKinnon on saturday.
Fished MacKinnon on sunday, lost a rainbow early in the morning, then not a bite the rest of the day.
I too got a really nice sunburn, face and up to my elbows and I was wearing sunscreen... guess I need some SPF 1000.
