Default Gold Trout fishing trip...

I'm planning a trip down southwards to go catch some golden trout.

Which lake would be best for decent catch rates ,coral or michelle ?? Having a short hike or a helicopter ride never hurts either...

Also which time of year would be best ??

Also are there any lakes/rivers on the way between golden trout area and Edmonton for decent grayling and whitefish fishing ??

Go Coral, but chopper in....a 9-hour hike each way seriously eats into your fishing time.

Actually, the rates are very reasonable.

The hike is beautiful, but 9-11 hours each way, with multiple stream crossings...so unless you have at least 3 full days to devote to fishing only one day, spending the cash for a 30 minute trip in, then out, is really worthwhile.

Try rainy ridge.
Reasonable hike.
Pack for overnight.

Bring bear anti-fun device of choice.
