I Would highly recommend a Metal Tape . That cloth one just does not stay flat, therefore throwing the measurement off !

Come on you guys this is supposed to be a competition for fun, have a little trust you don't think I measured it completely flat? Hard to take a pic by yourself. If there is going to be a problem with every entry I make I won't continue this little "fun" tournament.

Im not saying it does not count, its just easier to use the yellow metal tapes while alone, that's all ricky, never meant for it to be offensive, more of a suggestion ! Beauty Perch FYI , that will be hard to top ! GJ

The perch counts at 13.25 especially due to the other better picture I was sent.
As stated in the rules I would prefer people not use soft measuring tapes unless in a pinch. Here is a cheap measuring board I would recommend, at $6 you can't go wrong as it is way easier to take measurements and pictures.

PlatinumBarMan - Rainbow Trout
I've never joined a derby in AO but no time like the present to start. My first fish caught as part of the 2014 Hard Water Derby is:
Rainbow Trout - 2 lbs 11 oz - 18"
