Default The Fish Inn

I just received my 6 man fish in from Costco. I couldn't wait so I set it up in the living room. It looks like Equinox learned from last years complaints. The windows are removable and the give two extras. Nice looking tent. The fabric and the zippers feel tough. Come on freeeze already!!!!!!!!!

If they havent you can always use the costco warranty. Does the tent still come with the ultra tight bag with a zipper?

You must have quite the living room! But I always wondered about that orange color... No problem blocking light?

Sweet. Shoot a PM to Willowtrail and ask him about some ice anchors to keep that baby in one place if the wind picks up. Regards.

I like my 3 to 4 man from costco last year.

Might get a two man with a floor next year tho. Some of them seem really nice.

Default tent

The bag does have a zipper. I just put the tent back into the bag with no problem. I was inside and warm, but there seemed to be lots of space in the bag. I'm happy! I had the three man last year. I have no complaints about that one either. I just wanted a larger one to take my two boys out. In the smaller tent they didn't have much room to move and they kept stepping in the holes. A two year old who has a cold wet leg ends a trip fast.

I got mine last year, as a concept I liked it, The windows were crap but the manufacture sent me replacments with extras, hopfully they got the right material now.

I did not run into any zipper problems myself, but my real issue with it is I don't have a big enough heater.

And you did need to be careful folding it up, you need to do it just right or it won't fit, sort of tough it it was real frosty.

I have a new Big Buddy heater this year. Some one on the forum will know if that is enough to heat a 6 man. I have not used it yet but I am assuming it will be adequate in the more civilized temperatures.

Is that the double burner version, I have the single burner buddy and it is not enough. I would love another option besided a sunflower heater on a 20lb tank.

You should be fine, the mine the single was good to about -15 not hot inside but comfortable.

At -30 the best I can say it was not completely a frozen hell if it was sunny
