am I reading the regs correctly? I can hunt coyotes on crown land up to june 15 in wmu 357 since spring bear season is open until then?. the regs say on lands witch you have access to not "private" land to which you have access. this means crown lands are good to go correct? just lookin at continuing to thin out the coyotes round here to help the deer fawns this spring.

If taken on crown land, my reading is that one has to remove the animal whereas this is not necessary on private land. I don't have a ready access for coyote carcasses so have not gone the crown land route.
Keep in mind as far as I know if the coyote is shot on crown land you are legally required to salvage the hide. I may be wrong but that is how I interrupt the regs. (see page 62 of the regs., under the NOTE: )
