Default Hunting With Andrew Lake Lodge.

Here's a few random pictures of hunts in the past with Andrew Lakes resident drop hunts. Some of my most memorable hunts were up in North Eastern Alberta's Canadian Shield. Enjoy

Combined hunting and fishing trip? Awesome!

Slight detour question: What have folks paid for, say, a 4 day trip up to a northern Alberta, Saskatchewan, or NWT lodge with accommodation, guide, etc.? I ask because a few of my buddies have been out to the west coast for fishing and want to do it again this summer. But the prices seem to be between $2500 (bare bones not including transportation) to $5000 for their trips in the past. I'm not all THAT hot for it and was wondering what the cost of a lake fishing lodge might be instead.

I believe to head up and fish with Dan at Andrew Lake for four days your right around 2000$ and that's with your flights out of Fort McMurray.
His website has all th pricing

Gotta love northern Alberta in the Fall, after the bugs have all died.

Had a super trip with them last year. Caught lots of lake trout, shot a moose and everywhere we went the otters were putting on a show. Its nice to able to build priority and still hunt moose up there. For certain I'll go again.

I haven't been up there for a couple years now. We never actually hunted at the main lodge. Unreal how many lakes there are up there. Drop cams is what we have done in the past.

I would imagine there must be flights out of Edmonton to Fort Smith We always are bringing our own tent stoves gear so the back of our truck was always full. We usually drove to Peace river or High level the first day and drove the rest the next. Weather permitting Dan usually try's to get you flown to camp that upon arrival. Depending how early you can get there and his schedule. It's not a bad drive at all. Some gravel going through the Wood Buffalo national park. Roads are really good.

Default Fishing is unreal. Lake trout are up spawning.

We ate fish everyday. Cuts back on the food you need to take in with you. Fresh lake trout are hard to beat.
