Default Can I use my 2014 federal migratory permit for the spring snow goose season?

Or should I buy 2015 migratory permit? Checked with the post office near my house. They don't have 2015 permit.
Thanks!

Roy

Your migratory is good until the end of July, it states that right on your 2014 migratory licence. General season good until end of March, conservation order season until the end of July.
I believe you still have to get a valid Wildlife certificate and game bird licence as they expire at the end of March, seems weird but that is the info I got from ESRD.

Look into it, you didn't need that other stuff when you wen to hunt the spring season in Sask, so you may not need it here being a federal thing.

Federal or not, Still need a wildlife cert and a game bird license.

Below is taken from the hunting regulations .

Resident game bird hunters require a WIN card and a Wildlife Certificate and:

a Game Bird Licence to hunt grouse, partridge and ptarmigan;
a Game Bird Licence and a Pheasant Licence to hunt pheasant;
a Game Bird Licence and a Federal Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permit to hunt waterfowl;
a Merriam’s Turkey Special Licence and a Game Bird Licence to hunt Merriam’s turkey.
(NOTE: Merriam’s Turkey Special Licences are available only through a draw. Click here for more information.)

This....you need to purchase a wildlife certificate and game bird license....in addition to having your migratory license/stamp.

Make sure come April 1st you have your 2015 paperwork.

It doesn't mention anything about the spring reduction season though, are you sure you need it in the spring? Only reason I ask is that you didn't need that stuff in the spring to hunt Sask as it was as federal thing. Something to look into for sure.

The wildlife certificate and game bird are an Alberta Provincial requirement in addition to have the Federal license and stamp.

Saskatchewan may have their own separate provincial requirements.

Your Game Bird and Wildlife cert are good from April 1 - March 31. Just like the Fishing license. as LC said, Starting April 1st you will need to get your 2015 stuff if you want to do anything between April 1 2015 and March 31 2016.
From now until March 31 2015 is still considered 2014 season.

Only need the federal license for the spring season in Saskatchewan.

No provincial license needed.

I did check with ESRD, and that is what they said, doesn't really matter to me whether I buy it now, or a few months from now, I will need it anyway.

Thank you guys for the response. My understanding is you do need 2015 wildlife and game bird licence for the spring snow season. And I already got that on albertarelm.
