Default Some Esnagami Pike

Being my second year up here at Esnagami Lodge in Northern Ont, I have had a little better luck finding some bigger fish, Guiding has been good, doing lots of trips and at times finding lots of fish for guests and a few for my self.

Heres a few of my biggest so far, I have only got 31 pike over 30 inches so far but only got 35 in 5 1/2 months last year, so on course for some better numbers this year.

When I go out I make sure to wash a few lures at every bed to see whats moving and some days I throw the whole tackle box at them

a few on the fly, a nice 31"

33" that broke my BVK, for the second time, used the tip and hand lined him in for a quick pic

34" clackin minnow orange black

35" bulldawg trolled

36" first one caught on a bulldawg this year lotw perch pattern

37" orange and black suick, first one on the suick this year

During break week I had some time to fish between fisghting my cold and managed one awesome day where I caught 22 pike 8 of wich were over 30 inches and my best day fishing on the lake personally in 2 years
37" again on the suick, second biggest fish of that day, lost one 5 casts later, near the same size maybe larger

38" first "trophy" of the day

my second biggest fish of the year 39 1/2" red/white johnson silver minnow jigged in a weed bed caught not too far from my biggest of the year

40.5" my biggest of the year, #6 blue fox spinner

hopefully there will be more to come, and hoping to find somewhere to catch fish like this once I get back to Alberta

I enjoyed that you put the pictures in order - smallest to largest Every picture was better than the last!
