The rut passed(majority of the does bred) on or around the 18th.
It's post rut now!
The boys are now looking for late bloomers.

If you want to see deer in this weather you'll have to go to the deer.
Wind in your face, in their bedding areas.
Dress warm.

I would be out, if I wasn't stuck at my desk. Get in the bush and hunker down. They were still moving good on Sunday. The weather will slow them down for a day, but they still got to eat, and breed.

Tonight should be good if this passes. Not much deer movement last night, mostly just in the bush

Exactly, I would rather be hunting today, than driving to Medicine hat on these highways.

They probably won't move out in the open, but if you have a spot in a river/creek valley, thick cover, out of the wind it might be worth it. Sitting on a field edge...nope. Tomorrow will be better imo.

x2! Bucks were still chasing yesterday(NE AB) in the open but this weather will keep them in the bush until it passes...

They were on the move tonight after the snow tapered off, tracks crossing the ditches and saw 13 mulies/WT's out feeding on the way home from work. Wish I could have been out today....!!

I think the morning will be good...at least I hope so. I have everyday till the end of season so I'm ok with dragging it out...more time to hunt
