Some great salmon fishing can be had when the runs are in.

Ask for details at the local fishn shops or WSS in loops.

I have fished it a lot and mostly targeted trout. You can use the same tactics you would use for spin fishing the Bow. Rapalas, spoons and spinners work well. You will also be able to catch squawfish a lot because it is full of them. I went to university in Kamloops so I know the water well. PM me if you want some spots.

the North Thompson has some great fly fishing as does the Thompson River below the lake. One of the most underrated blue ribbon trout streams in the world. Should have some good fishing in the North Thompson in the fall, when the salmon head up it.
