Fishing This May Long with the Anvil

Hey everyone,

Been a while since a few of you have heard from me, been busy as heck as of late and seeing how this is opening weekend I figured I would dust off the gear and head out to do a little fishing.

As it is still to early to head out to the foothills and mountain streams, (maybe not) I know MeCleod downstream of hwy 47 is open as well Pembina Downstream of Hwy 40 is open in ES3 for fishing but not sure if ice is off and the conditions on the rivers, may be a little high up with the melt.

The boat has a haul breach so to say and I need to get that fixed, so won't be towing out old "Betsy" for a bit yet. Might even consider replacing her, 1969 was 40 years ago, although she runs.

Any who I am aiming at just some shore fishing...

If anyone from the "Goon Squad" is heading out this weekend drop me a pm or if anyone would like to School this young pup on opening weekend I would be up for that as well.
