Default Fishing the SSR ?

Tell me some stories ! Sturgeon biting? I am dying here ... I have a 5 month old baby boy and although he has been icefishing and fishing already.. the trips to the lake and river are shortlived.. seeing the river conditions right now is killing me looks like the sturgeon may be out down here! ????

I have been down twice to the Forks. The higher the river gets, the more the sturgeon seem to be biting.

camping is free, just have to register. May long it was shoulder to shoulder for sure. Im uploading a video that shows a few of the people camping there. we managed a fair number of sturge, nothing really big, but another boat was doing pretty good. caught most of ours from shore

Its going to be a short run off this year. The water will not get close to being as high as last year. The peaks are still to come sometime the first week of June.Fishish is alot slower than last year, becuse of the lower water. Lots of small ones. 12" to 14". A real good number of differnt age fish, which is good to see. This years count is 52 sturgeon biggest being 48".

my best is 52 inches, saw one or two on the long weekend that would have beat that easy at the forks.
