Thumbs up Fishing the south sask in and around Medicine Hat

My Lady friend and I are seniors and wonder if there are any easy accessable places in or near Medicine Hat on the South Saskatchewan that someone with difficulty walking could easily reach?

You could check out Strathcona park by the boat launch. Should be some easy access there. Could also check out Redcliff down by the park.

If you want to take a 30 min drive go out toward Hays, about 30 min out take a left on range rd 92 and it is a short drive down to the river, you can drive a bit further and fish the bow before you get to Hays (the bridge on the 524)

Strathcona park is also not bad if you are not wanting to drive.

There is no "easy" access to the river at the Redcliff River Valley Park..the town closed the road to the pump station where the easy access used to be. If you go to the park to fish it is a very steep path to the river and not easy to get to the water.
