Default Red Fern Lake BC

Looking at quadding into Red Fern Lake BC later this summer.
Camp and fish for a couple of days

I see there is a company that has a cabin and will fly you in, but looking at doing quadding in to save on cost.

Did a google search but not many testimonials on the good/bad/ugly of getting into the lake.

Anybody quad into Red Fern lake, and if so can you share your experience on the trip. Especially interested in the condition of the trail, and the time of year you went and how the river crossings were.

Any info is much appreciated.

I haven't been there personally but lots of people around here have and they all have the same thing to say about the trail.....ROUGH.

Been in over 1/2 way with the horses before, buddy's been in with the bikes all the way and says it's not a sunday drive for sure. Pretty hard on the bikes and your trailers, the bridge over the Besa is suposed to be sketchy unless they fixed it up in the last 10 years.
check the HBC forum and search redfern

And post trip report with pics when you get back!!
