Default Lake Sundance Perch removal

Hi all.

22,316 perch have now been removed. We caught 2099 on Wednesday. We have now removed between 1800 and 2200 pounds of perch. I know they have been a tasty treat for those lucky enough to have the time to come and help out.

I am again pulling the nets on Sat at 10 am. I need to be out of there at noon and we are not resetting the nets on Saturday as they need cleaning and repairs.

Therefore if a few people can show up at 9:45 am that would be great. Then we can have the first batch of perch on shore when the bonkers arrive.

Same plan as before. Bring lots of buckets and bags to take perch home with and remember you need a "Bill of Lading" before you go.

Thanks.

Sun

Sorry, Kevin...

I can't make it for this one. I'm taking the oldest and my Dad down to Travers Res. for an early Father's Day fishing expedition since the weather looks crappy for Sunday.

I'll keep watch for the next event! Good luck tomorrow...

Hey Sundance, I'm thinking that it might have something to do with who's on the end of the boat setting the nets.( and maybe the superior driving skills of the boat captain of course...lol )

Nice job on a good haul, too bad that I had to miss out again next time !!

very few perch combined in all traps...<12 I believe.

Sandalius...you set the nets to well. Took us too much muscle to lift the nets! Two full tubs on one trap...one full tub on another and 3/4 full on the last.

Crazy number of perch!

You have to set the nets again after we fix em.

There is a post called fyke net for anyone wanting to search to see what it looks like. Also check the internet.

We pulled the traps for repairs. Hopefully we will get the nets back in on Wednesday for another pull on Saturday.
