Default Great service at CTC last night

So..... I'm looking at picking up a new rifle and have an idea what I want but not to sure. I went into WSS last night just after dinner and the place was dead. I get to the gun counter and 2 guys waiting and 2 guys working. The 2 guys waiting are unhappy because they've been waiting a looonnng time. I've experienced this before so I decide to leave. I went over to the Canadian Tire on Southland. One guy (Dave) at the counter. I told him what I was doing and we talked a bit about different rifles and calibres. We then proceed to take out every gun and shoulder them all. From the Kimber to the Tikka to the Remingtons and everything in between. A couple customers came along and he helped them with ammunition sales at the same time and quickly. I now have a better appreciation of what I want. I have even more
appreciation for the gun counter at CTC.

It's nice to have great service. Thanks guys!

From what I've heard the south side location has quite the gun selection.

They've got some prices on a couple of nice guns right now. Had a rem 700 composite 300 wsm for $570. Some nice stuff.

There's some pretty good deals in the rotary racks out front at that CT. There's one of the older New Haven made Winchester Model 70's in there in a .300 Win Mag dirt cheap, but its one of the plastic stock, blind floorplate budget jobs. Good base for a project gun though. I think it was well under $600, $539 or $549 comes to mind, it might even be in the $400 range...

I have a significant amount of CT money accumulated, but haven't seen anything there that really pulls at me. I could cover most of the mid range rifles they have or 2/3 of a Sako. I might check their Red Deer inventory soon and if that doesn't pan out I could order something I suppose...... The guns I really want right now are either at Shooters Choice or Calgary Shooting Centre. Too bad they don't take CT money
