Not too much will get me to come out of my exile, but this certainly will. Thanx Tuc, for letting me know.
Robin was one of my favorite posters right from the start of the old board. Even while acting as a mod on this forum, I thought Robin did very well in provoking thought, and promoting discussion.
RIP Robin, you will be missed greatly. I wish your family the best......

It was clearly evident by all that Duffy loved and cared for his family deeply. A quality I strive to imitate. He also loved the outdoors, although my opinion and his often differed greatly in these matters as to how to approach things.

My sincere condolences to his family and close friends.

A big loss to the hunting community in Rocky and further afield.

A conservationist and a gentleman.

Although I did not always agree you can not argue his passion. I thought it was a huge loss to this forum when he was banned. As a act of forgivness I think changing his status from banned to remebered would be fitting to a guy who did share the same passion we all have

That's a thoughtful idea....I'll second that if it means anything.

I agree.

I never really did understand why he was banned in the first place.
Maybe I've forgotten somethimg...

Actually...it'd be nice if we remembered all the forum members that have left us.
Maybe even place their names in a special members section for those that wish to take a stroll down memory lane.

Default Passionate Person

This is terrible news. We(rimbey fish & game) had been working together on a resolution around cow elk hunting in 332 and 330. He had a lot of passion for conservation and fair chase. Any issues that arose were in good hands when he was following up on them. This is a big loss to the outdoor community.

Still in shock about it

Rob

X6. Perhaps something along the lines of "Gone Hunting" or "Gone Fishing" reflecting a members favorite pastime.

I suppose that we could just start a thread...like the word association one.
Members could contribute....
That seems a bit cheesy compared to an actual memorial section though.

I was one who truly enjoyed almost all of his threads as he was a dedicated man to our sport and the outdoors. I am saddened to hear of this. Wishing his family strength in a tough time. May the eternal hunting grounds be favorable to you MR Duffy.
