I went on at parkland at 6 this morning. Didn't have any trouble in 4x4. Slow fishing here. We got 1 white early and a burb late morning. Lost a couple pike and had a few tiny perch come visit.

Now its nap time. 4am came early.

Thanks Willowtrail for the ice update. Our group of 3-4 guys will be heading there tomorrow at 5AM. Any advice of bait or techniques to share as well?

Hope to see you on the ice as well roosterman.

I'm the last guy you want advice from on this lake. Can't get a white if my life depended on it. Just missed a few burbs. Secret there is drill 2 holes pretty close together. Wire worm for whites and jig and minnow for gators and burbs.

Were in 6' of water below rhe ice. Seeing lots of everything but not much luck. No walleye seen.

That's why they call it fishing and not catching.

If you ask me the fish don't seem to be biting on the north end. We went to the north east side one weekend. Caught 1 jack an that was it, saw lots on the camera but that was it... Next weekend we went to Brownlows on the south end a caught tons along with every els around us. That's my theory any way.

Was on the northwest side this am, quite bait of new snow, need a 4x4 for sure, in 10 ft water, limited out in a few hours between 9and 11 am, and a couple of nice perch will post pics later, great way to end the season.

I find sometimes the whites do not like a jack rig so i put mine about thirty feet from my white hole and that seems to not spooke them.
