Cool, I've been targeting rockies (a lot) and have found they are about 50% skinless fillets by weight. Biggest one today was a little over 1.25lb, and the small ones are about 0.6lb.

Wish there was some easily accessible lake whites around Calgary but the rockies keep me more than entertained.

Still trying to break the 2lb mark.

I know they get bigger in the middle Bow R., but they just dont taste the same...

Default Good Eats... Yum

Beautiful whites there David. I've only just been getting into the bigger ~18" whites.

Hey David Went to Gregg that same day in the afternoon, came home with 5 between the 1.5 to 2.2. Had a good time even though I was alone. Left my window rolled down in the truck and had a friend join me for awhile heh...

Went with Paul to Kinky today we ended up with 6 Brookies all in the 1.2- 1.5 pound range, had a 3 pounder take a nip but missed him, damn I was some mad he even came back alittle later just to taunt me, never did bite agian though.

I have done well using wire worms for the whites in the winter and summer on Greg. I dont keep fish often but I do enjoy eating the whites. Wish I could have gotten out more this year. We always do well on Kinky, never been skunked as I hit the same spot every year.

Great looking whites you caught!
