Default Nautilus Battery In Canoe (Heavy)?

I have a square back canoe and a minnikota motor for it.
I was looking at batteries for it today, they were all sooooooo
heavy. It has to be a Marine/RV deepcycle battery. It was so heavy I thought it might sink the canoe. Thanks for any info.

Most batterys only weigh about 60 pounds and most canoes are rated for 600-1000lbs. Look at your capacity plate but im sure you'll be just fine!

I use a heavy deepcycle in my 16 foot canoe no problem, also used the same battery on my pontoon, and still had no problem with the weight, just had to move the seat ahead
