Default Gull Lake, March 14th 2014

Had a good day on Gull today, saw LOTS of whites, lost 2, landed and kept 3 and missed a bunch more, probably my last time out on the ice for this season, but it was a good one!
Will put up some pics later

Other people on her might have better directions to a spot but we enter at brownlows and drive straight for about a KM and a half down the lake to a place I believe is called Birch Bay

Anyone interested in meeting there on Sunday morning?

I was supposed to be there this morning but had a last-minute change of my plans (not by choice)

I am not sure where birch bay is...but I do know where Brownlows is. I am a Gull newb so I am interested in learning what I can with the time left.

That spot 1.5 km north of brownlows is the point, birch bay is quite a bit farther access is north of Bentley can't remember name of campground.I have more bad luck at gull than good at gull and I fish it quite a bit, so far my best luck has been the point last year was Wilson's.

From Bentley go north on highway 20 and go east at the little highway that joins just around the first corner. Go north a fair piece. The access is after the big corner after you get a good view of the lake. Should be a sign saying Birch Bay. After you turn off the highway take the last right on the road. It takes you thru the trees down to the lake.
