Default my first open water trip tomorrow

Car is packed up with all the gear, can't wait to try out my new float tube for the first time!
I am gonna go for some rainbows, will post pics when I'm back

Hope you take along some longjohn underwear. The water is going to be a might chilly this early in the season. Good Luck.

Its plenty nice out if your dressed properly, been fishing out of my kayak for 2 weeks now!

Here are my best rainbows so far this year to get you pumped up.

Those are some amazing rainbows! Where about did you get them? Just got back and caught nothing today from severn Creek reservoir

Yes lots of little kids and rookie fishermen do. You know those kayak fishermen are a different breed. Haa just kiddin...

Long story short I grew up using a spin caster. I made the move to bait casters but you can't throw light lures like the ones I use for trout so I still use my spin caster. I finally got used to using spinning gear this winter so I probably will end up getting a spinning setup to replace the old spin caster I just haven't got around to it yet.

Oh and these rainbows were caught at lake x lol... Pretty easy to figure out which lake has large rainbows near Edmonton, unfortunately they aren't always easy to catch as I found out today...
