How long does it take you to skin, flesh and board a coyote?

Yup, as I said above, trapping big numbers is the easy part. But having a regular job and trying to plan how to thaw, skin, flesh, board...and then turn pelts in big numbers is fairly difficult if not doing it full-time. That is why I said I would be interested in learning how to be more efficient at it. Don't get me wrong...I am a decent skinner...but a few years helping out a taxidermist with his skins has probably made me too cautious and methodical. And not that I wouldn't be interested getting you to custom skin...but 6 hours north of Edmonton is a pretty big detour from your earlier suggested meeting point. That is why I mentioned the possibility of an "efficient fur processing seminar". I can't be the only one who be interested on this...I'm guessing.

Wow 10 min eh!! I guess it is always possible but I really have a hard time believing you can do it in 10 min. If you do then my hat is off to you. That would be a cool youtube video I would like to see

ThAts fine if u don't believe me...but I skin 10 to 12 coyotes in a hour the only way anyone is going to get really good at it is to have the furs too do..I been lucky to have it I have done between 50.000 and 75.000 coyotes In my life time and that just coyotes

Seems some of you are getting your butt handed to you by the new guy

What happened to a friendly hello and make him feel welcome before you start questioning his skills with disbelief?

It's bad manners to come across so self righteous at the starting gate.

Hello new guy

X2 Welcome to the forum Coyote Skinner! Just curious, if you don't mind me asking..is this your job year round or a job you do purely doing trapping season?

I think you are the most instantly popular newcomer to the forum I have seen in the years I've been here! LOL I think the only way you could increase your popularity is if you were a female big game guide, and part-time gunsmith and Victoria's Secret model.

One winter I went on full time after school and weekends with a trapper friend. We snared from mid november to the end of February. We hit the 400 head mark and put the fur up at nights. 400 coyotes snared, skinned and put up, I thought we had climbed Mount Everest. From what you do Coyote Skinner we bearly climbed Round Hill!!!!!!!!
