Default Beaver Castors

What’s the biggest (fresh out of the beaver) castors you have ever harvested? I am pretty sure if there was a Boone and Crockett scoring system for them... I got a Booner.

I bought quite the set off a dude at Olds, the time when the Peace Officer didnt give me a one hour safety inspection just for fun!

Dude brought in 1 beaver, his first of his life...

and the castor set, first of his life

Said beaver weighed in at 55 lbs or so

Castor set weighed in at 1lb 1 oz

At $100/lb at the time, made $106.25 on one beaver, no shrinkage, no commission, and didnt lose money on USD to CDN funds exchange.

Nice story eh Davey??? Your set looks pound-ish

I have a very lewd photo of Bryce holding the set of castors, but as there are women and children, and potentially some in the "other" category frequenting this site, I feel compelled to not post the photo!!!

Default 1st Beaver

Quite the story on first time beaver being over 1 lb.. Have caught a few over the years (like 40+ yrs) and never had a set like that.

Guess its all downhill from here for the Newbie...

Maybe instead of bending over for anyone that wants you to you should try to grow a set of your own.

I’m always mildly amused when a civie insinuates that I’m some sort of coward and they are brave as hell. I generally don’t rest on my laurels but I served 27 years in the Army, about a third of that as a paratrooper with multiple deployments. I’ve experienced more bravery in one week than you have in your entire life. Oh yeah, you are soooo brave......My hero.

The fact is that I’m banned from the ATA. After taking my fur in for the first FHA auction some punk named Ross threatened to strangle me and drown me in the ditch in front of the ATA. Not face to face of course, on the internet. When I replied that I would accommodate him by dropping by to provide him that opportunity, I received a text message from Bill banning me from the ATA building. I guess that you can say that Ross was saved by the Bill.

True story.....no guff. And you think that I hide in my basement?

Facta non verba

Again I thank you for your service I respect what the military people do for this country. It’s how you talk a big game but never show up with any of your thoughts to Mabe make a change? I find it real liberal minded to want to use the services of a organization you speak so openly against just cause it’s 10 min from your house.
