Think that was dm/jamie. He's on your team

Evander Kane tweeted that the NHL shouldn’t suspend Reaves and should make Vegas play him 20 min a game. Lol
Reaves runs around a lot just like Tom Wilson. They are two big fish in a small pond. If a Brian Mcgratten or Steve McIntyre were on the opposing team it would fix that. But I guess the NHL is better off without enforcers. (Sarcasm)

Reaves is just plain dirty, he was lucky to get away with pushing a player face first into a goal post in the last series, and he has been suspended before, the league would be better off without garbage like him. And now he was given a match penalty for intent to injure, so now the league needs to make an example of him.

Reaves actions lead me to believe he's an idiot. A match penalty is an automatic suspension I believe, so, he should get suspended. Considering what Kadri just got, pretty sure he'll be gone for 5 to 6.

exactly...and hockey pool wise I made a few adjustments

I agree that the Avs are most likely coming out of the West/North. But if there is 1 Canadian team that might have a slight chance against them, it is the Habs. The Habs have 3 things that could give them a chance
1. Price
2. Defense
3. Perry
MacKinnon might do a couple things better than McDavid, but 1 thing he does better for sure is get frustrated. If the Habs make it out of the North and Perry gets to play against a Western teams with super stars and a young goalie, I think we will see a new level of effectiveness on Perry's part.
If Toronto or Jets make it out of the North, I don't think they stand a chance against the Avs.

Well look at that. Buh bye Leafs. Missing Tavares, Muzzin, and Foligno hurt them no doubt, but nice to see them gone.
Guessing Foligno will be signing elsewhere next year. An Oilers jersey would suit him perfectly and would be a great addition to the team.

Leafs suck.
The drought continues.
Now just need the Habs to lose and I’ll be happy.

Wow the leafs have no answers. That group of forwards should be dominating. Losing Tavares nonwithstanding. And I’m nowhere even close to a leafs fan

Know that little feeling of joy Oiler fans?
Not quadruple it, and that's what the rest of Canada felt on the 24th May!

Agreed.
That may have been the finest example of the trap I've seen in many years though. Once up by two, they just clogged the neutral zone and the Leafs simply couldn't adjust.
Spezza outscoring Mathews, Marner, and Reilly combined didn't help their cause either.

Watching the commentary in between the first and second made me want to turn it off. Kevin Bieksa was the only one to actually give Montreal any credit. It’s was all “leafs did this” “leafs did that” in a scoreless, very even period. Full marks to Montreal. They were the better team in the series. Bad hockey culture is an unmeasurable statistic. Oilers are suffering from the same. Good team on paper, can’t get it together when it counts.

So many times now the better on paper team loses..sure makes for interestibg playoffs as you never know whats going to happen for certain.
I know it was just one game, but Vegas (who I like) just looks slow and lost compared to the Avs. Even with Fleury back in, I think the Knights are in trouble with this series.
Leafs..well someone has to lose, might as well be them lol

Media has been feeding on him hard last couple days.
Memeverse is chewing on him hard.
No goals in 18 playoff games... flippy puck penalty stuff
Fans want him dead.... ya da ya da
The T dot .... she’s a tough townman
Marner, Mathews, Willy.... they’re young boys that need hardening.
It’ll happen.... if the fans let em.
Thought of the evening....
550 healthcare workers in attendance....
..... and still someone choked......
Bwahahahaha!!!!!
Sorry....

She's going to be a physical one between the Jets and Habs I'd think. I like the Jets if it goes that way.

The laughs are wasting Matthews and Marner. They’ll be demanding a trade in the off season!

So Flames & Canucks don't even make it, Oilers swept in R1, and Toronto loses three straight after being up 3-1 in R1.
I'm honestly not even sure which is worse at this rate. We all suck LOL

They haven't won a game 7 game in 20 something years now, all they know how to do is fold like a cheap lawn chair in game 7.
Their top 3 guns disappear in elimination games, in the last 6 elimination games Mathews has 1 goal for 1 pt for a -4, Marner has zero goals and 1 pt for a -5 and Nylander has 1 goal and 3 pts for a -2 rating. Pretty brutal stats.
It took them over 40 min to get their first shot on net in game 7 tonight. if there's ever a safe bet, it's that Toronto WILL choke in a game 7. Put your money on it, every time.
As soon as they lost game 5 I knew it was over for them, their only chance was finishing them off in 6, The Habs winning game 7 was just a formality.
That should keep the talking heads quiet at CBC,TSN and SportsNet, all three of them cant put the Leafs on a high enough pedestal. I'm going to REALLY enjoy SportsCenter tonight and tomorrow

Toronto was the second biggest choke of the year, after Edmonton.

Love that the Hab's sent the Leafs to the golf course, but I think a rested Jet's team will take care of the Hab's in 5 games, it's going to be Hellibuck against Price...... who cracks first.... great goal tending wins series in the playoffs, not just good goaltending
Just like the Oilers you shut down McDavid / Draisitle line and you win the series, you shut down Mathews / Marner line you win the series, Hockey is still a 3 or 4 line game you need contribution from the bottom lines, end of story

I heard Edmonton lost at that as well! Something about being up 3-1 and then losing is more of a choke than losing when you were never actually ahead....

Just like most, I was ecstatic watching the Leafs lose another one. Watching the post game interviews literally no one from the Leafs acknowledged the fact that Price was the difference maker. Campbell was good for the Leafs but Price was outstanding, no way they win without Price. And in the Playoffs, its goaltending that makes the difference, Montreal proved that in the 70s with Dryden, in the 80s with Roy when they won the cup, unlikely Montreal wins the cup this year but they still proved a point that excellent goal tending will carry a team.
