I think they’re just outmatched this round. But, a goalie can overcome that and win a series.

Vegas. 40 wins and 82 points
Montreal. 24 wins and 59 points.
Montreal heading to the final.

Who was the weakest division again?

Hahaha all those Toronto pundits saying how The Leafs didn’t have any real competition this year due to a weak division must be embarrassed. Oh wait there is no accountability there memories are short!

Well folks as much as it chaps my A** there is no Western team in the finals. I am all over the Habs finishing this.
Bring the cup back to Canada.

Wow. Montreal beat Vegas. Good on them. They played their asses off and as a result made Bettman cry. Lol

This cannot be. The 4th place finisher from the feeble North Division makes the cup finals?? Say what?

Who was the weakest division again?

In fairness there were 3 weak teams in the North this year vs only 2 in most of the U.S. based divs.

One was a bunch of kids who actually played quite well against "some" others and will be excellent in 2 years.

One was ravaged by covid and injuries to key players.

One just outright crapped the bed. Ahem.

I think Ottawa is going to have something there in a year or two

One was ravaged by covid and injuries to key players.

Bad luck for Vancouver. I think they will be a far better team next year. This is in addition to 3 other strong teams in the north (pains me to include Toronto in this group)

Always needs to be a last place team in every division. They would be next year if the divisions were still the same.

3500 people allowed in the arena and there was 40k shoulder to shoulder outside. Lol. That’s 2021 in a nutshell right there.

Fat chance. They're still Les Canadiens and have Corey Perry on the roster. Hope they go out in 4.

Never thought I would say this, but “Go Habs!!!”

Pretty sure Tampa will win game 7. It will be hard to beat them, but I think Montreal can do it. We shall see.

LOL that’s fine, sit there and be salty. I will cheer them on. Want the cup back in Canada. Not like it’s going to Edmonton so it’s all good.

Not gonna take the bait...

Montreal has shown the league that heart will get you up there. Great chemistry on that team without any "superstars".

I don't care who wins between TB/NYI (well I do for the fantasy playoff pool only), as I believe the Habs have an excellent chance to knock them off.

Feel sorry for all you Habs "non believers"...

It all comes down to the playoffs being a different animal....some don’t have that next level of compete.

I’m the opposite. I have always loved Perry’s compete level and would love to see him win another cup playing for the league minimum like he is and giving it his all. This guy can teach a lot of so called stars that continue to not show up in the playoffs.

Would love to see Perry win the cup but not the Habs and especially not that fan base.

Would have been worse here if the Oilers had won, Whyte Ave probably in ashes. Anyway, Go Habs!

Your out to lunch ! Buf,NJ,Det Cbj,Chi,Ari,LA,SJ and Ana were all crap teams. 4 of those teams were in 1 division, that’s how 2 teams had so many points. Weakest division in hockey and they just proved it ! Go Habs Go !!!

Allow me to rephrase the above. There were 4 crap teams in the North Division standings based on the regular season. One has caught playoff lightning in a bottle and had the good fortune to play the first 2 rounds against teams missing key players.

Also a good thing the league awards Bettman points. Habs had 11, 4 more than the Leafs, and 2 fewer regulation wins than the Flames. 1 more than the Sens and Canucks. Without the loser points there'd be no playoffs.

I've hated the Canadiens with a passion for many many years for a multitude of reasons so you cant expect me to say something complimentary now. They are my LA Dodgers, Dallas Cowboys, LA Lakers, of the hockey world. Tied on that scale with the Leafs.

Good for you habfan.

This, that, bettman points, missing players, shoulda, coulda, woulda, headache, hungover WHATEVER?!

Your team made it and the other supposed 'better' teams did not. That is playoff hockey. I am an oiler fan, not a Habs fan YET whoever begrudges the Canadians their right to be where they are has a bad case of sour grapes.

Did I mention, I am not a habs fan? Anyway, I am still saying, GO HABS!

You can hate them all you want. Most don't care what you say...

Montreal made it to the Finals with a very decent team.

Most Canadians will cheer for them...

Go Habs!!!!
