Default 45acp or 9mm?

I am going to pick up a new JR Carbine this week but am wondering what caliber I should get.
9mm is a lil smaller a lil faster and a lil cheaper
I like the idea of more with the 45acp.
Im not worried about cost of ammo so much
Its also offered in 40s&w.
Im curious what you whould pick

If it’s just for jacking around, the chambering isn’t of any consequence.
If $ was an issue I’d go 9x19

Other than that I find .45ACP harder to find, more expensive, and under impressive.

If ammo cost is not a consideration:

As mentioned if ammo cost isn’t a concern I’d go for the .45acp. I have both although different set ups. A glock 43 in 9mm for conceal carry and a sig p220 in .45acp that I used previously as a duty firearm. 6 of one half a dozen of the other.

Get the .45
Leave the 9mm for children and pregnant women.

Possibly the best answer ever on Albertaoutdoorsmen........lmao

I have both the 9mm and 45acp.

The 9mm has a kick follow up shot. But loaded up hot the 45acp is the king.

How does that Glock 43 compare to the 26?

Thinner and lower capacity. I have a grip extension that adds one so its a 7+1. The G26 is a 10+1. Other than that they are fairly similar from the specs.

That's why I chose it. My last carry gun was a Ruger LCR in .357Mag. Sold that to a coworker for a back up gun.

There pretty fun to shoot. I went with the 9mm. The kids and I can go through 4 - 500 rounds pretty quick....
