That was a great time, had a blast hunting down there. Ill add my harvest to the thread, but nothing too crazy, as I dont want anyone getting offended either. Its a shame as another member hunting with us got great video of the shot on my ram, but that would be waaaay overboard for a hunting forum.
I think just my view from where i shot, and a view from the sheep back to where I was when i shot is enough.

Nice! But the only thing I find offensive in those pictures is that Blaser!
Kidding of course.

Huh
I’m confused with this thread? Is there an underlying story that would help clear it up? We are either enjoying a great hunt and personal achievement or we aren’t, and I’m not sure which it is at this point?
Is the hunt in Mexico I presume?

Very Nice Nube!
You've lowered the bar.
Now some will demand that we must do better.
Limbo Baby!

I got no issues either but it looks like there are sure a guys on this site apposed to social media and posting pictures. No difference if it is a bear getting speared or a deer in my mind but these people that frequent here think it is our downfall of hunting in Alberta so I guess we have lowered the bar to that now.
I love seeing all your dead wolves Cowmanbob but I would bet a good pile of people think it is just ammo for the anti hunting crowd. Its amazing the snowflakes we have on here that call themselves hunters.
Enjoy the pics for what they are worth for now I guess guys. Nice scenery shots of the countryside. Heaven forbid if there was any blood shown on anything anymore.....

I can text ya a few if you pm me your number. I am sure the other guys would share as well.
We are thinking of going back again in a couple years but might try Mexico. I have some connections for a better price and bigger sheep than we were seeing on this place we went. You're even invited to join us if you want or I can pass some info along to you when I get serious about it so you can go on your own.

Great hunt and great pictures. What did that cactus you took a bite of in the last picture taste like?

Who cares? You were one of the people saying that people should post their photos anyway, weren't you? And now you are going to stop to make a point or whatever? It would be pretty lame, IMO. But different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Texas about 2 miles from Mexico though. I over estimated how easy these thing are to hunt. Kinda blew my mind really. Tough to spot and we covered a ton of area. It really was the poor mans sheep hunt

Congrats on a great hunt.
Nice seeing pics this time of year that aren’t covered in snow.
As for the pics of dead animals, I still post up ones I get. People can either look at them or not and I really couldn’t care less what the odd Snowflake thinks. To be honest though, I haven’t received any negative feedback in the past but even if I did I don’t think it would change my view greatly.

Great job! Always a pleasure seeing new countryside folks are hunting these days, the landscape is a little different then our sheep hunts here in Canada. Would suck tripping and landing on one of those cactuses! I’ll take my chances with devils club.

If you noticed I havn't posted a trapping pic in a very very long time as well.....
I doubt you will see my Ibex and Marco polo this year as well if I get them.
Also I didn't see that many pictures this hunting year either. People have had enough is my take and it's not worth it. Look at the comments on any of the bear spearing threads and you can see a good portion of guys think social media has wrecked hunting......

We do have them here you just can’t hunt with them as they are restricted or use full capacity mags semi auto centre fire 5rounds max. If you don’t mind dropping some cash could even get high end AR style rifles (ergonomically and appearance no different) that are non restricted and legal to hunt with ATRS Modern Hunter or bit more wallet friendly BCL 102.

Anyone that doesn't "get it", have a look at the "Coyote hunting for Conservation" thread....
We are quickly lowering the bar on ourselves.
This mindset knows no bottom.
Nube's post gives us a taste of the future if "we" continue to groupthink and follow directions from those that desire to be offended.
Next year, the backpack photo will be offensive....

Kinda my point of it all WB lol
Hope they enjoy a pic of my horse and a tip of the horn shot maybe on my Kyrgystan hunt this year.
If I feel it is appropriate I might even take a pic of a flower and share it but I bet some might be offended as well.
The way we are going hunting might be shut down by then completely

Wow, hunting section is the new drama section now, lol.
Post if you want, don't if you don't want to, lol.
I don't remember you ever posting pictures that were not respectful. Ignore any antis.

Seems to me hunting is an endeavour to obtain an end result, and I would expect to see a pic of a kill in a successful hunt pictorial. Clean up the animal a bit if necessary, don't pose weird add-ons in the pic. Those who don't like hunting stories with the results shown don't have to look at them, and probably shouldn't be looking at this section of the forum to start with. I am bored by a lot of what I see, insofar as I see so many kill shots with no story, but, every once in a while, someone posts a really good bunch of pics, with a good story, in which the trip is properly illustrated, such as you have done, and the result pic is just another pic in the bunch. Which is the way it should be. There again too, if the hunt isn't successful, the pics of the adventure are good in themselves, along with a story.
I expect that country is a bit rougher than it looks, and the temps don't help that situation, you had a challenge in front of you, and you persevered to get it done and enjoy it along the way. Don't be afraid to show it because of keyboard commandos, delete their krap, don't waste your breath on them, and put them on ignore, and continue on.
