First Sturgeon
Well it finally happened. Jared took my dad, uncle and I out on the river in search of sturgeon. We had never fished for them before. Took us to a spot that apparently held some sturgeon. First caught some suckers before a great hookup and a well fought battle by Jared for a best first fish ever on a new rod that I've ever seen! Then I hooked my first too. Great times. Now I'll have to go in search of a white sturgeon near home. https://youtu.be/nPo6ZErE-Dk

Awsome. Still on my bucket list. At 2:40 in the vid, there is a big splash in the background. Is that a sturgeon leaving the water or a beaver?

I fished the NSR for the first time yesterday. Didn't hook into any Sturgeon but we saw a big one rise out in the middle. It sounded like someone cannonballed into the river lol.

Nice. Your making your way up north I see....gull, then buck, then nsr.... best part of fishing isn't fishing. It's going out and exploring new places.

I believe it was a beaver but we did see lots of sturgeon flops but didn't get any on camera that I could find.

Yeah its pretty cool seeing them jump but very frustrating when they swirl right over your bait but don't bite.

For sure I agree 100% some people are trophy hunters... i just like the adventure and challenge of figuring out and finding structure on new lakes.

Not sure if it shows up on your posts, but your pic no longer works to third person.

100 percent. I just got a new hummingbird fish finder and spend at least an half hour each time I'm out just mapping and checking things out. It's like treasure hunting but for fish haha.
Thanks for the video I haven't caught one yet but my son and I have gone to the bridge by Lee park a couple times now. Can't wait till I do.

Yeah talking moose I've been shafted by Photobucket like probably others have. They no longer allow you to embed pictures on other sights unless you pay 400 dollars a year. Well that's retarded. Does anyone else know of an image hosting service that allows third party hosting?

I didn't see you there, no claim notification on the bank either. Sorry. Not trying to advertise spots. Of course people who know the spot will recognize certain places on the river but doesn't mean people who don't will be able to find it. No gps coordinates given. Seems like lots of people already know this location, "my spot", as you call it. Haha.

Great video! The land owner isn't very friendly, so people who know the spot, watch out he is not pleasant (just when pulled the boat up and tied onto shore) hahaha. He's just a lonely, grumpy old guy.

Hi Brandon,
Would these work for you as alternatives:
1. https://vgy.me/
2. https://cubeupload.com/
I think you can use Imgur...but it is officially against their TofS to link.
I'm not a Flickr fan either, but that could be an alternative.

Hey thanks a lot for the recs will look into those. I'm kind of upset with photobucket. Like when you look at the pictures they give you the links for embed right beside. Been with them for many years and all of a sudden pull this garbage and lock the accounts so you can't even use them.
Then try to get help and you just get robot answers. I kind of hope they crash and burn with this move.
