Default Bulkley river/Smithers area

Anyone going salmon fishing in this area mid to late August? I'm headed up there August 17 till the 26 fully realize the sockeye are closed but I'm not letting that stop me from chasing coho pinks and steelhead.

I am heading past there to Kitimat/Terrace area for the same fun. Always a blast catching salmon in the river, never stopped and fished the Bulkley but always thought it looked decent.

Stop and have a go at 2 creeks and a river. It's about half way between morice town and smithers. There's a big pool if basically dead water just up stream of trout Creek the usually had salmon rolling in it depending on water level
