Default Smoking salmon

Finally got time to smoke some of the "Sooke" catch from the last week of Aug......Alder smoke in a maple brine. Here we go.

You can brush maple syrup on a couple times during smoking too. MMMMMMMMMMM

If you haven't started yet, might I suggest this one. There is no better recipe for salmon. Hands down winner.

I've used this one when I wanted something a little different. Most smoked salmon recipes use a lot of sugar.

And yes Kim, I did baste hourly with the maple syrup.....very good fish after 6 hrs in the "bradley". ty.
