Was it me, or did it seem Sather was already well into a fun evening when he did that 2nd intermission interview?

As much as I hated the Oilers, that was a very classy move on behalf of the Oilers, that was some of the best Hockey back then between the Oilers and Flames. Its a shame the Flames dont retire numbers any more, what are they waiting for ?

I guided Sather, Sinden, Peter Puck and the Pocklington expedition 20 years ago at Great Bear Lake. Slats was a great guy but very quiet. Sinden made up for that quietness and we joked around and caught some nice grayling and lake trout. I also got to meet ex president George senior too. He was also pretty nice and a humble guy....

Was good to say "thanks" for all his hard work, a classy guy for sure Bumped into Coffee, Anderson and Katz the game before walking out of a luxo box and got to have a quick chat. My nephew had no idea who they were (obviously, he's 15) the score was fitting too. The kids are playing with a lot of confidence right now, sure fun to watch again
