Great catches. You guys are lucky to have that fishery so close and convenient.

Hey man, thanks for running out and snapping a couple pics for me...this fish deserved a little more than my usual quick pic on the floor of the tent before going back down the hole. She weighed a couple ounces over 17lbs...pretty sure that's a personal best pike for me...or at very least the best I've pulled out of Wab

Looks like you guys made out pretty well out there also I only stuck around until 3 then I had to pack it in and go pick the wife up from work. I'll likely be out there again for a few hours tomorrow if anybody wants to come visit

Nope, still have to walk on out there. There were some fairly recent tracks that only made it about half the length of the dock before they got out of there. There's about 2" of ice with about 3" of slush underneath it still. Hopefully within a week or so we should be able to drive out again

Looks like you guys had a wicked day out there. Contests on the beauty jay. On the tip up or rod.

P.s I'd say it's only around 13 lbs to be generous. Looks a bit skinny. Haha jk great catch. Looks good and healthy. The big mommas should be starting to feed in the next month Im guessing. Next weekend I'm thinking about heading out on Saturday. Congrats once again jay

I got her on a rod/reel in the tent...and MAN did she get wrapped up in the line. Took me a couple minutes just to get her unwrapped and pointed up the hole, and then practically had to wrestle her when she started to thrash around the tent! Good times

I'll see about getting out next weekend if you're going to be out there

Hahaha nice fish.... i was out there too in the morning i went to my usual spot out on the far side.... had decent luck 21 whites between 3 of us, 2 eyes and a few pike... one monster ... wouldnt fit up my 8'' auger hole .... and before i could drill another hole to get it up it snapped my 20 pound spider wire.... by far a great day.... after i lost my last jig i came to town side and seen you guys out there... i was the one that came around 11ish and set up just to the right of you.... i said hi and asked if you had any luck.... we only pulled one pike up and about a dozen perch from town side... nothing huge for perch but nice size for wab.. biggest around 10-11 inches....most of them around 6-8....
