Default Health issue

Going out on a limb here to see if there is any direction on help or anyone have had same issues. Since about June my wife has had some issues where her viens have been bulging and burning( she says like acid running through them). She has been to countless dr and had tons of test. All test have been normal including MRI, has CT scan in December. Everyone says they don't know and that she is healthy. Back in May she was taking oregano oil to help with cold. Was taking a fair bit and the new bottle had a bad/off taste to it compared to the first bottle. Her mom has a bottle from the same lot number and said it tastes normal. My wife strongly believe the cause is from this oil. To have this bottle tested they said it would cost a lot of money cause they don't know what there testing for. Anyways if anyone has any direction or ideas please help. I don't want to read any rude comments. Thanx

how old, where are the veins, what other supplements? Possible the two have nothing to do with each other, women are prone to varicose veins.

A reaction to the oil wouldn't normally last this long but you never know. This is why you have to be so careful with herbal supplements. Who knows what they actually have in them.

A post viral inflammation/syndrome could be another possibility. Viruses can do all sorts of strange things, including kicking off an autoimmune response.

All I can suggest is a referral to an immunologist.

Well that's a start. Veins are everywhere, definitely not varicose. And no real other supplements. Thanx

Well things just get worse. Now my wife believes my kids are getting symptoms, she is a strong believer it's from the oil. Kids had normal blood work. My poor wife feels as she is being chemically eaten from the inside out. Dr don't do anything, she is so scared. And no my wife is not crazy so don't even bother saying anything rude. The only reason I'm airing our laundry is there are a lot of great people on here and maybe someone knows someone or something! Thanx in advance.

prob a long shot but father in law had burning achy legs along with other stuff and it eventually was figured out to be a parathyroid thing and most doctors dont know much if anything about it let alone to test for it like i said
prob a long shot google it and see if any of the other symptoms match up who knows.

That's brutal, symptoms don't really match hers though. End of May all is fine then this week or 2 later. Crazy how week our health care is. She has to ask for test nothing would get done. Now at a standstill, she keeps trying different dr but I think most are quacks. Thanx for the suggestion, hopefully one will hit.

Hopefully not this, but my your description sounds similar to a coworker. He said his calves were burning, and it felt like "Acid running thru his veins" He got diagnosed with diabetes, since treating that his leg problems have disappeared.

You are going to need some referrals from your DR. Ask for neurologist or physiatrist.

There's very little chance it was the oil. If it was a virus it should show up on her blood test. If it was a type of poison or toxic substance then it would be out of her body by now. Have any of the doctors given her any suggestions as to what it could be?

So unless she already had an appointment, there's no way she got in to see an immunologist that quick. Jumping around between gp's or ER doc's isn't going to get you anywhere, nor is there going to be a quick fix.

If you want further suggestions, give us more info. What tests, what specialists, what they said, all symptoms.

From what I know oil of oregano is natural antibiotic and would be free of any virus unless of course it was a bad batch somehow. How long after did she start getting the symptoms of acid in her veins? Seems unlikely it was caused by the oregano. If she originally took it for the cold. That "cold" could of been the start of something much bigger and what's actually the problem.

Although I don't mean to offend you. Even though you say she is healthy it could be that she simply isn't. Toxins from all sorts of stuff our bodies are exposed to everyday can buildup over time in the liver. And all of a sudden be released when it can't be stored anymore, releasing dead pathogens and various other things.

if you look up nitric oxide (which naturally swells the blood vessels) and it's role in the immune system it's starting to sound like the problem your wife is having (vasodilation) which causes toxic levels of nitric oxide which is naturally released by macrophages to curb an infection. When it does this it's known as sepsis.

It some situations it may pump out to much of this stuff for whatever reason. Her blood vessels symptoms of dilating made me remember back to when I used to workout and take supplements that would help release more nitric oxide to improve blood circulation and expand the blood vessels to deliver more nutrients to muscles and stuff. It gave me more energy and allowed me to workout longer. I never experienced acid like pain though. My veins would bulge more than in a normal workout when i took the supplement. I'm attaching a picture and it's a brief description.

For starters she should drink lots and lots of water and take minerals and vitamins of high quality not bargain brand stuff, there is a significant difference in the 2. For example your body may be able to absorb only 10% of cheap made vitamins and minerals compared to 90% absorption from higher quality stuff. Most people don't understand that. Since the target of her pain is her blood vessels she should be supplementing extra with vitamin b12, b9, iron, and selenium. Selenium is a big one! It plays a big role in killing infection and killing diseases. Although its highly unlikely it's a disease it sounds like an infection or buildup of toxin that was released into her blood. It's really amazing how selenium works with white blood cells under a microscope.

Although I'm not an expert by any means if the problem gets worse don't hesitate to see someone about it. I hate seeing doctors because they point you towards a drug every flippen time. As long as you do your part in giving your body what it needs nutritionally it will do the rest.
Hope this leads to somewhere
