Got the wife on board!
So I had a thread awhile back about how to get the wife in on all the gun and hunting stuff like I have recently got into. Well I am proud to say that last night while we were at Cabelas buying myself some gun stuff she tried shooting a b
ow for her first time and loved it! Long story short, we came home with a brand new razors edge bow for her. Needless to say, I think I have her hooked shouldn't be too long before we're out huntin together! Now just gotta get myself a bow too haha.

Good stuff! My wife started hunting with me about five years back now. Been my best five years hunting!
Usually we hunt together, but a couple years back she said she wanted to give it a try on her own. So one evening she heads out and bags a Whitetail without any assistance. Even skinned, gutted and hung it herself! Made me very proud.
And last year she bagged her first Elk. It was a real treat to call it in for her. Should have seen how excited she got when he came in a bugling. She dropped him with a single shot at 150 yards with her .30-06.
Here a couple hero pics of her with her critters. The smiles say it all.

and regardign the signature line...my wifes first deer was a 5x5 155 whitetail...my first deer was brown.
her next animal was a 56" kudu.

I'm green with envy!
My wife love the idea of me getting all are meat. She loves the outdoors, and shooting my guns.
But she can't get around the killing part. She even gets sad watching Wild TV
When an animal gets shot, she doesn't want to come out with me because she doesn't want to see the killing first hand...
What do I do?

Be thankful she comes as far as she does. It's not for everyone and to try and change or force her to do it would be the same as her trying to stop you from hunting.

Now you'll have better lunches while you are out there and your hunting partner will smell better.

I hope so too! The more meat in the freezer the better. Not really concerned with who puts it there. I don't think she'll be out this season though so I'll have a seasons head start on her. Lol.

You got her on board? Bwahahahaha... You keep telling yourself that.
She LET you buy her a new bow.
But as long as she's doing it, it's all good.
