The bs gladue reports are garbage
It should be if your actions or addictions caused your children to turn out like dip sh$ts
You should go to jail with them
No one should be getting a free pass
How do you stop the cycle of stupidity if no one is punished for their actions?

It is hard for me to wrap my mind around the stupidity that has griped Canada. The progressives get more stupid everyday and people lap it up. If someone would have described what has happened to this country to me 40 years ago, I would not have believed it. And yet here we are.

It’s almost like a third party has a plan and has been executing it for years-or something. I don’t have time to think about it, got to get high and watch hockey.

So how can a judge even hand out a conditional sentence, when the law doesn't allow a conditional sentence in this situation? This makes no sense.

yup , that sounds about right . its no different here in alberta . there are rules for the law abiding citizens ( victims ) and rules for the criminals . and guess what , the rules for the crooks are more lenient .

Yup, the judge should be fired. I'm getting tired of indigenous leniency, why would they change if all they get is a slap on wrist.

Nothing surprises me anymore. In time we'll just have our paycheques deposited to the band office of our choice.

Burstein said the woman’s troubled family history and struggles with addiction, outlined in what’s known as a Gladue report, combined with her “promising future” and commitment to seek treatment meant he couldn’t justify giving her a criminal record.
I'm sorry your parents were pieces of trash but that doesn't excuse you of your own actions. I hope this judge gets disbarred. He's so scared of upsetting the SJWs that he won't convict and is making excuses for someone who is likely to be a repeat offender. I hope she makes an ass out of him in the future.

Lets just hope that next time she gets wasted because her boyfriend screws another family member and she drives drunk that the only person she hits is one of the judges family members. Maybe then justice might be served.

I can remember a judge dismissing an impaired case against a fella, second or third time around, no licence, no insurance, because he couldn't understand the charges. Sent him off to the side, with his lawyer and an interpreter, probably 1/2 hr or more. Came back saying he still didn't understand the charges, judge dismissed the charges. Peace River, 1984. See the same guy on the street a few hrs later, spoke and understood perfect english. Local Native.

My Ex was EPS and used to tell me all the time how often people (quite often older Asians) would conveniently forget how to speak English. "I dun know!" would be their answer to every question and look straight at her with a confused look. She used to fall for it when she was a rookie, but after awhile she got wise to it. My wife was also a ticket girl at Northlands in the 70's at the horse races. It was amazing how much the older Asians would argue with her pretending to not speak or understand English, until her Asian coworker would talk to them and kick them out for trying to scam hahahaha

No equality in Canada for generations to come. You are very wealthy and can pay for freedom or you have the politically correct genetics. If you are anything other than that, pay up cause you owe us and we are special now go back to work.

That has got to be one of the biggest bunch of bull shot I’ve ever read in my life. I hope that moron judge chokes to death on his breakfast. Another disgraceful ruling in court by someone that was appointed to the job. So from this day on, does every native and Métis get their first impaired for free till the end of time? What a load of crap.
Yay Canada👎

It's not going to get any better, I hate to say.

Traditional drunk driving! Traditional hunting! Traditional handouts!

In a not too distant future they're going to steal land and hopefully farmers put up a good fight.

Canada the new South Africa.

Get used to it, you had your chance to fight, now it's time to get down on your knees and submit.

And do it with a polite Canadian smile.

Here's another doozy with respect to the 'legal system'.

Just google 'Jessica Yaniv' particularly in articles from the Post millenial. This is happening right in BC. Mind blowing.

Stricter and stricter laws, to the point of taking away our right to a trial for some, and yet this person proven to be driving with three times the legal limit, gets a slap on the wrist.
