Default 4 people stabbed

There were also 4 people stabbed. Sounds like Toronto has a gang problem.

Just another day in Hogtown. The type of people who are out shooting and stabbing one another would be doing it regardless of the outcome of the series. That being said, things happen in mobs that might not normally occur with the same frequency in non-mob situations. People in large groups can be volatile.

Oh oh

Someone got shot in Toronto

Bill Blair to the rescue. Ban some farmers gun in Saskatoon. That will fix it.

How about admitting some of Torontos citizens are just plain criminal garbage? That’s a good start! Then go after them and their friends. And their mommas who think they have “ good boys”.

Unfortunately I doubt if that will happen today, tomorrow doesn't look any better for going after the real problems in our society !

Would the Raptors have gotten as much media coverage if they weren't from Toronto ?

I see what you did there...

My understanding is that there was a shooting nearby the parade, not at the parade, but that wouldn't make as good a headline would it.

"Shaquille Anthony Miller, 25, Abdikarim Kerow, 18, and Thaino Toussaint, 20" came up in this article I just clicked on to provide the names http://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada...IoZ?ocid=ientp , which was odd as they're not that same names as another article I was recollecting when I posted, that one is linked below

"Abdulrahman Abdullahi, 23, of Toronto, is charged with attempted murder, discharging with intent, unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm and ammunition and several other offences.

Also facing multiple charges are 26-year-old Kamal Hassan, 23-year-old Ilyas Riyaleh, 20-year-old Jovane Watson, 21-year-old Zachary Cust and 33-year-old Nathaniel Campbell, all from Toronto."

http://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada...I0M?ocid=ientp

And for good measure, the Toronto Police's most wanted list for murder: http://www.torontopolice.on.ca/homicide/mostwanted.php

I'm pointing this out to note that Toronto's murder problem is not due to what hunters and sport shooters in Alberta or the rest of the nation have in their safes. If they cannot address the problem due to political correctness then we're all doomed.

All of them with priors involving violence and or drugs, all with firearm prohibitions. Well color me shocked.

Yep, got to get guns out of the hands of SK farmers for sure.

Just to get in front of any possible presumptions, my issue is with the criminal culture that's grown out of control in that community in Toronto, its not with dark skinned people (FWIW: I have two such friends/tenants living in my own house). I'm critical of the criminal culture, not the pigmentation. The toothless legal system and the rampant political correctness carries significant blame for the spread of the gang culture because it has allowed it to flourish.

To be fair, they voted one in as mayor several times, and have one as premier. They must be pretty ok with criminals and gangs.
