Great Pics!! I can't wait to get my Brittany (Gunner) out next year on some more birds. He was a bit tied up this year with a neutering but we'll be ready to go next year!

Congrats again! Fine looking dogs!

Is one of the dogs German Wirehaired Pointer ?
I think that they are one of the best looking upland bird dogs.

Great pics. Looks like you had a productive season. My dog was mad I took a couple of weekends off to chase mule deer as well. It sure is satisfying to pin down some wiley old prairie roosters. Last trip out we trailed one for about 800 yds across the short grass away from the cover. I was wondering if the dog was just fooling until she locked up. It's a great game!

Hey 222rem, yeah that's my wire hair pointer (albeit a teddy bear version of the breed). She's the cutest ugly dog around, not show quality but she sure can hunt! Poor girl just didn't get out enough this year. She probably wishes she belonged to cohod instead.

Great pics!

Cohod, great pictures it was a great season. I was to the south and east of you guys on Sunday. I think you should have posted a picture of Griffon also, I heard his name floating across the prairie most of the morning. The dog and I finished off with a couple of nice roosters out of there. Sorry I missed meeting you but I did get Rays little note

Default He's Supreme alright

The Grif is kinda camera shy , he's your typical Frenchman

loses his mind when pretty girls are around , notice the choke hold ....

Amazing how Tula and him look similar but different breeds ...

...Tula may look like a French breed but she's all German when in the field!

We should get those two together. Tula has a real affinity for other bearded dogs. No offense to the setters she usually runs with (they just make her points look sloppy).

Lots of room out there.... no problem. I too think we have crossed paths before out there. Good pic of the Griff... got to love the wrestling style choke hold

Here is a pic of another one of Griff's love interests...he sure gets around

Look forward to seeing you out there next year.

Rick.

she is one heck of a great dog only problem I can see is it takes two setters to keep up to her..

I guess there is a reason why they call the French lovers and not fighters...

Looks like im not the only one who has hung roosters off that fence in that spot. Thinkin that if there is a texas gate about 10 yards to the west of ya there Winch, weve both been hunting one of Coho's "secret spots"! Heres a pic of my "big boned" britt,(thanks there Remi) beside that same texas gate.

I guess I've been hunting in Cohod's secret spot for about 25 years now. It's a nice spot until the deer hunters start scoping you. Anyone see a moose there this year?

I never did see a moose, but heard of a real good mule in there in the early season, was supposed to be pushing 190, but goodness knows, you know how some people like to exagerate. I do know of a rocker in the area. I went in afew times bowhunting trying to get a visual, but never could get him in glass, and this one was not a wild goose chase.

I never saw a moose this year but did see some moose sign in there. Not to secret but still a good little area. I try avoding chasing birds in there when the deer guys are out....like goldscud said don't like me or the dog scoped.
