Post Will the early spring mean a shorter period before the bear hides are rubbed?

Just wondering if this will be the case or will there still be some decent hunting into early June.

If you are hunting early June....rejoice, youll be in the rut!

To be honest, I wouldn't wait that long if you are after a luxurious coat that is pre rubbed. Best to get one of those no later than May-long (or so) IMHO.

I don't ever think Ive seen a large boar with rubs. Always seems to be smaller bears. Just an observation.

I was wondering the same thing actually. To damn hot out there already!! I'm heading out next Wednesday for whitecourt,me and buddy are hoping to get our first bears. Will be doing spot and stalk method so will have to give the bears a real good look before pulling the trigger.

Some of the long term forecasts actually have it cooling down somewhat....60-70's
