Nope not to early, just spent two hours out whackin at them with my son north east of Smoky Lake. How do you keep track of how many you shoot? We were in a good patch today and not once did I think of counting them.

How do you keep track of how many you shoot?
We have a small ammo bag & we count how many shells we shoot. Then we actually just count the misses. Easy peasy. Have fun.

2-3 years ago there were virtually none considering my boys used to shoot 2-300 a weekend when they lived here. Heard something about a virus wiping out a lot of them and it looked to be true.
Today made 3 trips to the field planting pheasants for clients and must have seen 30-40 each trip out. Didnt even get out to the west pasture but it seems they have bounced back big time from just 2 years ago.
