My Spanish (Beceite ) Ibex
For those of you mountain hunters, here is a picture of my latest free roaming Spanish Ibex (capra hispanica) taken fair chase in the mountains of Aragaon_Castellon just two weeks ago. He is 11 years old with perfect symmetry.
I will be representing my buddy Valeriano's outfit in the firearms and outdoorsman shows in the coming months in the form of a booth, offering hunts for the 4 type of Spanish Ibexes and the European Mouflon. In the mean time, if you want to have a superb hunt and take your wife along for some fantastic cultural/gastronomical experience at a fraction of a cost of a sheep hunt in the Yukon, drop me a PM.
Yours in good hunting,
CH

Great pic. I didn't know you could hunt in Spain. What's the closest city to where your outfit is?

We really enjoyed hunting Spain for beceite ibex. The country really surprised us and the people were great. We stayed in Castellote and hunted the mountains from there to Bordon. Incredible history and people. Our outfitter holds the rights to a huge area for hunting. Sandi's ibex was 8 and mine was 11. We saw hundreds of ibex.

Spain and Ibex are on the top of my list for a hunt. Pricey but the food alone will make it worth while over there lol

You said it right Nube. As they say in Spain:
"Los Espaņoles viven pa comer" which translates to:
The Spaniards live to eat. Food is the king!
Vale is a pal of mine and I will be offering his hunts in the shows next year. This is not for profit but as a favor to a great friend.
If you need to see good slides of my hunt, drop me an email and I will share my report with you.
Regards,
Alex

Fran Corju seems to know what he's doing over there for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing it for myself.

cool trophy
Congrats on your Ibex! Definitely a very cool critter...
What are the retail guiding fees for such hunt, and what does it cost to import the trophy to Canada

It all depends. My suggestion is not going with the cheapest outfit as you will run in to problems. I always bring back my cape/horns with me so I cant advise on that.

I wish the pics would show a bit more of the face of the animal and not all horn.

The Spanish are very big on posing the ibex to show off the horns, when in Rome...
