Default 3d Printed models related to the sport

How about folks post some of their designs or models that they have produced with their 3d printers, preferably related to the sport, but if you made something that you think others would be interested in or maybe you made something that your darn proud of, then show it off!

Default 22LR Ammo case

I found this design online and thought it might be useful. The base has graduated stops so you can just dump out 10 rounds at a time if you choose.

This model was done in PLA Matte black and gray, tolerances are fairly tight but if your printer is calibrated the fit should not be an issue.

We were wondering what it would cost to get a ammo case made on a 3D printer. My son has a wiildcat inn the works based on the STW case but wants to store the ammo bullets up, pretty hard to find cases that tall!

Looks like a custom case would have to be designed.

Try the link below, its a parametric design based on OpenSCAD software which will allow you to input the dimensions you require and from that will produce a design based on your inputs.

It may not be the most elegant model but it may fit your needs.

Should be plenty of people in your area that would be willing to print you out a sample, any of your coworkers?

Simple. Give me dimensions and numbers you want to hold

these are storage cabinets I made specifically for my radio box in the boat. One holds the DSLR, one holds binocs, other 2 are for phones, keys, pens, etc

I have added a couple since this pic

trial and error

Question...can your replicator do a 3d scan of an item and then print as well?....or do you have to design from scratch?

I use this handy and light weight vise to hold PCB's if I have to solder anything to them.

Very well designed, sturdy and works really smooth.

That is an awesome print job! Which printer have you got?

I am going to have to try one of those, I generally use the 'helping hands' but this looks cool

Thanks, I'm working with an Ender 3 Pro. It has served me well and can print pretty well anything than I currently need. Great results with PLA, PETG and TPU filaments, not so with ABS.

Currently I'm at a point where I want to expand my capabilities and would like to get into the Nylon 6 based filaments reinforced with carbon fibres and so I'm looking at getting a new printer, just haven't decided on what to get or how much I want to spend.

I use a soft case for transporting my Ruger 10/22 back and forth to the local range. Though the case is fairly well padded I wanted some extra protection for the muzzle end and to protect the front sights just in case.

I designed and printed this cover with TPU filament which fits snuggly over the end and adds a little extra protection.
