Default Lac Sante/Vincent Lake

Hey Guys,

Thinking about buy a lot out at Lac Sante. Anybody fish this general area? I don't think I've ever gone east of Edmonton to fish before. We always go west, or north. Are these lake decent for fishing?

Used to fish this whole area awhile back but for the last many years there has been a real lack of moisture. Once had a lot at vincent, but it's hard to even call it a lake anymore. I don't expect many of the surrounding lakes have faired any better. Maybe I have been out of touch, pls correct me if I'm wrong..
Might be able to buy cheap to what they used to be...

Lac Sante is a spring fed lake with some spring runoff. It has a small intermittant stream that flows out of it. Years back I caught some large pike in this lake and I know that it has populations of perch and N. suckers. Today it is considered a good swimming and boating recreation lake but not much for fishing.
